Guest guest
I do like the reform approach to children's therapy-- that the parents need it first. That's always encouraging and I'm glad you found it useful. Since you're positive, you probably draw the best from anything you encounter. I am turned off by the jargon, though. Not saying that you're using jargon but the descriptions of RDI that I've seen, the way the leading experts in it discuss it. I'm just not dazzled and I don't see the need for all the verbiage when what they're conveying is simple and self-apparent. But if they described it simply, then everyone would go home and do it instead of paying $200 bucks to be coached. That may be one reason some people are skeptical about it and may view it as a business venture. > > > > I'm also leery about the possibility of others attempting to instill > > their values, even in a subtle way, in our children and wish we > could > > find therapy that fit OUR values. >
