Guest guest
I see your point, however, I see reality too. We'll try as best as we can to make him social, but he's not social. And he'll never be social. And that's okay. Even going to school parties, etc. If I have to send him and say " DAMMIT YOU WILL HAVE FUN " there is something wrong with that picture. So he's not social? So what. He loves the computer, he loves learning on the computer, etc. Hell I'm on the computer all day... completely addicted. I'm no worse for the wear. Most social gatherings and relationships aren't all that great anyway. If some day we find a way to cure autism and make him social, yay! But for right now, I'm accepting him the way he is. (But working on it as well.) > > > > > > Well, actually, I think some of the computer-based learning that Ben > > > has done has done exactly the opposite from interfering. Guest guest
Yup, some of us were introverts a long time before computers were even invented...like me.Peace,Kathy E.On Feb 9, 2008, at 12:00 PM, autismlink wrote:He loves the computer, he loves learning on the computer, etc. HellI'm on the computer all day... completely addicted.
