Guest guest
I just finished listening to a tape from a conference in which a gentleman was discussing vision issues for autistic kids. He was comparing them to the problems they've seen with people with MBD (minimal brain dysfunction) which I found interesting, especially with the mercury " damage " vs. mercury impeding cell processes ideas. His recommendation was prism glasses which I guess has made Major changes in some kids and adults. I could relate a lot of what he described to my 20-year old. My question is this--Have any of you had any success with prism glasses? (My son tried Irlen's, but absolutely could not tolerate wearing them, even with sensory integration help!!!!!!) Also, have any of you who have used them, been able to do away with them because of improvements with chelation? Or with Megson's therapies? I'm not sure if I should pursue this for the possible short-term benefits while we chelate? One more question-- This gentleman says our kids " over-focalize " and that locks up their movement and speech as well. Have any of you seen improvement in these areas with prism glasses? Thanks!
