Guest guest
I believe those are adult ranges on the SGOT. We've had several different labs do our son's liver enzymes and the 4-6 yr old (ages we had them done) were never above the low 40's. SGOT higher than SGPT is significant to heart stress per Cayce, , etc, but allopathic medicine may be less concerned. I would bet something is being pushed thru the liver too fast. Guest guest
Elevated SGOT means a necrosis of hepatocytes, myocardial cells, or skeletal muscle cells. The cause could be anything you mentioned.
Guest guest
, Unfortunately, I don't have much of anything useful to say about what an elevated SGOT means, however I checked my kids' (4 yo) and his has been at 41 and 43 U/L with a ref range of 0-40. Pretty different ref range than yours. What are your units?...and is your RR a pediatric one? I'm pretty sure the 0-40 is not pediatric.
