I sent an email through her website yesterday. I mentioned to

her that if she needed quick information she could go to her

childhood friend Jeannie who works at the Nassau AHRC. I

also offered her website information if needed. I'll let you

all know if I get a response.

This is pretty cool (that you guys want to write to Rosie). I haven't

looked at my e mail in days. Anyway, I wrote a letter to Rosie suggesting

she promote some Ds awareness during Oct. I will write again and tout our

affliations (our listserve). Maybe we can all meet on her show.

I just wanted to tell everyone I email Rosie too, and put a message on her

message board. Maybe if enough of us email her she will responds and mention

Ds on her show! So anyone who needs her email address let me know and I will

send it to you! Hopefully if enough of us send messages it will work!!

anybody has Oprah's please send me that one too. I

think it would be a great topic for remembering one's

spirit or even that segment that she does on moms.

Multipes and DS would make a great show. I think it

would be the show of the year. Maybe I'm just a wee

bit prejudiced but all of our kids, DS and Non DS,

Oprah's used to be Oprah@... .... but I'll check

on that. I have contacted her several times, then she

contacted me saying " please stop contacting us, our

shows have already been decided for this year. " LOL

What's Rosie's e-mail addy?? I promise only to e-mail

Did anyone see Oprah's first show of the season? There was a bilingual

woman with DS on the show who had read every book on Oprah's booklist,

some several times. Her speech therapist had contacted the show about

her and they invited her on and gave her all the books from the booklist

because she had been reading library copies.

I think we would have better luck sending mail thru the post office. She

probably gets 9 zillion emails per day. just a thought.
