Guest guest
My girls were born at 35 1/2 weeks. Sara's water broke at 32 weeks, but for whatever reason it sorta sealed back up for 3 more weeks. I was pretty scared when I was put into the hospital at 32 weeks. They took us down to the NICU and we looked at little little babies. Thankfully, our girls were big (5 lbs and 6 lbs). still here/questions Hello everyone; I have been very busy lately and haven't been keeping up with my e-mails. Marc & ; your children are beautiful and your house is too!!! I am glad that all survived the hurricane. Kim; I am still working on permission to give you Jill's e-mail address. Judi, I will be praying for your boys....I'm sure all will go well. Sara G; was that collage every created?....I wouldn't mind buying a couple off of you if it did happen. I am curious how many moms out their gave birth to their multiples earlier then 30 weeks? Judi, no need to reply; I know that yours were 26.5 weeks. I am just wondering if there are any others out there that have had their multiples as early as Judi and I did. , mom to Nicala & , ds (2.75 years) and (10 months)

Guest guest
and (DS) were born in May at a day short of 35 weeks weighing in at 5.14 and 3.7 respectively. He was in the NICU for five days and then transferred to pediatrics for one more day. She was in the NICU 27 days and they made us take an infant CPR class before we could take her home. Guest guest
Just wanted to add that they were delivered early because the dr was concerned about the weight discrepancy between the two. > > and (DS) were born in May at a day short of 35 weeks > weighing in at 5.14 and 3.7 respectively. Guest guest
I remember that CPR class. When we took Ashton home, I was scared to death. The NICU can be such a scary place. We were there a lot and my babies were two of the more healthier babies but the monitors and some of the babies coding was so frightening. Both of mine came home on apnea monitors. Did anyone else have the apnea monitors? The doctors didn't want to give one to Ashton but I told them that she was on it until the day that she left NICU and I wanted one. They told us that we would probably have to pay for it out of our pockets because the insurance wouldn't pay for it if they couldn't justify a need. I told the doctors that I knew that they could write enough in her records to justify a need. We came home on a monitor and the insurance payed every dime of it. When we went to NICU followups, the doctors would ask if mom was ready to wean off the monitors.(lol) They were on the monitors for six months and at least I rested easy whenever they weren't going off. I remember waking up at night to see if the monitors were working. Which was crazy because the alarm on the monitors could wake the dead.Paranoid mom or what? It took our dog several months to bond with the babies because of those monitors. She was shocked when we brought the first baby home and the the second one. It was her turf and on top of that babies that beep! Poor dog, its a wonder she didn't have a heart attack. Everytime the monitors would go off, she would shoot behind the couch. Prematurity and NICU brings back a lot of memories and we still stop into visit the staff. As I write this , I realize how fast the past year has gone by. Guest guest
, Thanks for trying to get Jill's permission. Our twins were born at 35 wks to the day. I did go into advanced labor at 30 wks but they put me in the hospital and was able to keep them in for 5 more weeks. They induced labor at 35 wks because I developed H.E.L.P. Syndrome and pre-eclampsia. Kim - Abigail and ds - 23 mos and Mikayla - 4 Original Message - Hello everyone; I have been very busy lately and haven't been keeping up with my e-mails.
