Guest guest
Pam and Carolyn, thank you - The mirror is a great idea, I will try it and we have focused in so much on hand over hand on sean using the spoon it never occured to me to try it with finger foods so I will. He just has such sensory defensiviness and its been so long I wonder if its behavior or even psychological. Eating has been a constant struggle for both boys from day one - they would have been thrilled if I had forgotten to feed them. Neither care a bit about eating and don't have any foods that they are particularily motivated to eat. has the perfect diet of veggies like spinach and squash, sweet potaoto and mixed veggies with tofu and fruit and he only drinks milk - hates all juices. I had our newest person who is working to help include him in the classroom ask me if I would mind her trying other things that wern't so healthy and I felt like laughing. I would love for him to eat a cookie or a french fry or something in the junk food categegory - now if thats not backward. Greyson on the other hand I would do anything to get him to eat a vegetable or a fruit - he won't even taste them. So I have my opposite twins. The one thing I do in the car if ever i give the other two a cracker, I give one to - usually he just throws it on the floor but once he crumbled it and I was just so happy he held it long enough to do that. Anyway thank you and anything else you all or anyone else thinks of I would love to hear it. Margaret w/ Greyson and (ds) 3 years and annice 17 mos - who out weighs the boys by a pound.
