Guest guest
I'm responding to three different messages guys: Yes Gail, my triplets will be one on 3/26/00. Wouldn't it be fun to have one big one year old birthday party for everyone together! It would be crazy I'm sure. Mabel, 's Geneticist gave us a free copy of the book, " Babies with Down syndrome " . It's very good. We did not have any tests done to see if our babies had DS. We knew we wouldn't change anything anyway. I would have liked the time to educate myself, yet I am a worrier and probably would have spent the whole time worrying about what could be wrong with . I knew had DS the first time I held her, just like you did. Her DS features are not prominent/distinguishable, but I could tell. I also had monthly sonos by the Chief of Fetal and Maternal Medicine at the Hosp. and he did not pick up on anything or at least he never said anything. Probably couldn't see anything clearly - not enough room in there! Lastly, Our is a real little peanut. Sounds like Nicki is too. Many clothes don't fit her right and she does get her brother's and sister's hand-me-downs. A couple times I have purchased a dress or outfit to fit just her because I was sad that she didn't have much that fit her little frame. Survey In our case baby C was the one with Down syndrome but we didn't found out until I have them. I had ultarsounds monthly and never showed anything wrong with a. It was until 8 hours after I had them when I went with my mother to see the babies at NICU when I saw a and just looking to her face I knew she had ds. Does anyone of you with triplets knew previously you are having a baby with ds? Have some of you have read the book " Babies with Down Syndrome " ? In the hospital they recommend us that book and finally last week I bought it. Post Holiday Update Hi All, The kids are all still on school holiday here until the 26th. My days are spent fruitlessly running around trying to keep the house in some sort of order - just to see the carpet occasionally is a bonus! Emma and Nicki are both doing really well. Emma seems to be growing up and is more understanding of consequences and what is happening. She used to get really upset if the doorbell rang and the dogs would bark, but now she runs to the door to see who's there. Nicki has been walking now for about 4 months and is much more steady on her little legs. She is still very tiny and today is wearing some shorts size 6 months - we can really get full use of all our clothes!!

They are now wearing 18 months clothes. ~
Guest guest
: Wow! They are good sized! The boys had their 3 year check up last week and Sam is 26lbs and 25!! Both are about 35-36 " tall (I forget the exact measurements). They've been in 24mos clothes forever and are now just going into 2T & 3T.
