Another local station came by this afternoon and interviewed me about

the Poling case and the impact on the autism community.

They want me to come down to the station in the morning to do a more

indepth interview.

So now three local stations (NBC,ABC, Independant local) covered the

story in N Florida and S Georgia.

The girl who interviewed me said she called around for 3 hours and could

not find a pediatrician who would come on to oppose my views, they will

not touch this.... They are running scared...

This is really, really, big...

First Coast News

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL ˆ A First Coast mother who has been an advocate for children with autism is taking comfort in what some call a landmark decision.

On Thursday, federal health officials have conceded in one case childhood vaccinations worsened autism-like symptoms in a Georgia girl.

Weed who is the mother of an autistic child believes the door may have been cracked open for the five thousand families looking for relief and compensation.

" More than winning, it is letting people know their children were harmed, they were not protected, " said Weed. Her nine year-old daughter, Lanier, is austic. Mom believes mercury toxicity from childhood shots are to blame.

Weed is not alone in her fight for answers. She has been to Washington lobbying to get parents help with their autistic children.

The Ponte Vedra Beach mother admits the battle is far from over, but now there is a ray of light giving them hope. " This is a fantastic day where we can let parents know this indeed happened in this one case. "

The government " has not conceded that vaccines cause autism, " said Renzi, the lawyer who represented federal officials, who have constantly maintained that childhood shots are safe.

Weed, who believes otherwise, says finally a decision in their favor as they continue to carry the torch for their autistic children
