I take this as a sign that Gupta knows where this is going better

than most. I don't think anything's taken over his body. That's just

him adapting, like the virus that he is.

I think we should all be prepared for more Revisionists-R-Us action

from several high-profile medico-politico pundits once the CDC's

attempt to spin this has clearly flopped (which will be apparent

because, on this very day, parents accross the country just decided

not to stay on the vax schedule). It should be fun to watch the rats

inching over, square by square, into a more enviro position and

copping a casual pose once they get there, as if they'd, oh, been in

that position all along, just hangin' out, being groovy and bio, la

la. Clearly a lot of them will want to land on the right side of

history when this smoking volcano finally blows.

Autism Speaks will probably forge the new official comfy position

that somehow includes enviromental triggers yet still justifies lots

and lots and lots of psychopharmaceutical drugs. It seems guaranteed

that that's the position where all these soon-to-be-old-school mouth

pieces like Gupta will end up. Because the obvious next question

about conceding environmental autism and the existance of an epidemic

will be how do they all make money from it?

In my crystal ball, I see many fake, recycled studies trying to

implicate, say, " inherited " serotonin or dopamine " imbalances " (or

maybe a trendier brain chemical, like glutamate or whatever) in the

hypersuscuptibility theory of autism.
