2 senators team up for effort to reduce abortions tied to Down syndrome

What I'd be interested in is if these two Senators would be in

favor of embryonic testing with in vitro fertilization.. Then you

get rid of the " unique person " argument against abortion. Or even

more basic, testing of the egg and sperm (3 chromosomes must come

from SOMEWHERE - either sperm or egg must have 2 - I don't think that

one of them just out-of-the-blue replicates a third copy in EVERY

cell in the embro)

Of course, this would cost money.. But compared against the money

the govenrment would (proabably) have to spend later on partially

supporting the " Down's kids " ? Nah - politicians don't think that far

ahead, they can hardly think to next year's election..
