me earlier today about vaccines-autism and the Poling case. It's

supposed to air between 5:30-6:00 tonight.

Childhood Vaccine Could Worsen Autism

A 9-year-old girl gets a first-ever confession from U.S. Health

officials. They have concluded a childhood vaccine worsened and

ultimately led to her autism.

The government, however, still insists that children's vaccines are safe.

When Hannah Poling was a land toddler she talked, knew her colors,

even whistled on demand.

Then Hannah got her 18-month immunizations, which the government now

says, led to autism.

" We simply knew her beautiful, inquisitive mind was never coming

back, " said Jon Poling who is Hannah's father and " I wanted to know

why my daughter was no longer there, no longer verbal. "

Hannah had a rare mitochondrial disorder that was worsened by vaccines

and led to autism. Her family will receive money from a vaccine fund,

while other families wonder what's next.

Vicky Debold, mother of autistic child says that she is " quite certain

this vaccine played a role in bringing about his autism " and " it makes

me sad. "

Vicky Debold says her son Sam's story sounds much like Hannah

Poling's. Pictures show a healthy baby before immunizations and a

withdrawn child after.

Doctors say parents must get past the concern and trust their medical

advice.

Dr. Cara Biddle from Children's National Medical Center says " What we

know is it is safe for a child to be vaccinated, and it will keep them

healthy. "
