What FDA grant was Dr. Poling working with?

Did anyone else hear his wife say, during the press conference on CNN,

that when he left s Hopkins, he had been working with a grant from

the FDA? I know the implication was that he left s Hopkins to

support his daughter, but I'm thinking there was a lot more to it than

that.
