'Autism: The Musical'

--------------------

The HBO documentary challenges stereotypes about the disease.

By McNamara

Los Angeles Times Staff Writer

March 25 2008

A title like " Autism: The Musical " certainly gets your attention. Which is a

good thing because this HBO documentary premiering tonight (8 p.m.) pulls off a

truly amazing feat: It explores the condition of autism and the often injurious

effect it can have on a family, but in a way that is neither sappy nor totally

depressing.

Unfortunately, in Canada we cannot access the movie at the www.hbo.com site, thanks to this: This website is intended for viewing solely in the United States. Darn!! Aasa (P.S., Does anyone know of a way to get around this?) Maurine Meleck <maurine_meleck@...> wrote: thanks, . This works for me. I am sorry you cannot see it. It's truly heartbreaking, but at the same time-a brilliant documentary. MAasa <penas7ar@...> wrote: If someone could do that, I would be greatly appreciative!
