Guest guest
You know this stuff really creeps me out if I think about it too much. At the risk of sounding like a total loonie....I worry that someday the un-vaccinated kids may be targeted " just to prove a point " . I almost don't want my son to EVER buy lunch at his school cafeteria where the government has supplied the food. Am I off my rocker?? Gone off the deep end?? Guest guest
The headline and this article are a testament to the pathetic and agenda-driven health reporting that exists in the mainstream media today. (I know I know...there are examples of this everyday so no surprise here.) But, here are 9 people with measles and it's headline news. Big whup! Did anyone else notice that there were only about 2 news stories this year on the biggest infectious disease story of the decade? Millions of people got influenza this year, and this year is also the year that there were MORE flu shots available and administered than ever. Hmmm....More flu shots than ever and more flu than ever in the same year...sounds newsworthy to me. But instead of covering the biggest infectious disease story of the decade, millions of flu shots & millions of flu cases, the news focus is on 9 folks with measles...lame lame lame health reporters. We all know that the flu shot is a crap shoot each year and that they missed (again). as a journalism major it depresses me that I read about this once and only once. Indeed, it was a good decision to cancel my subscriptions to the mainstream news.
