As you read these headlines, do remember that the new frontier in

pediatric medicine is adolescent medicine and the stated business

objectives for pharma vax makers is expanding the vaccine market to

this previously untapped teen market.

Naturally the folks in Big Pharma are enterprising and capitalizing as

all marketing and sales arms of public companies must be.

If 2 childhood vaccine doses are insufficient to prevent mumps, add a

3rd in the teenage years and require it for college entry.

Brilliant!

And get the spin right with the press that this is not about initial

vaccine failure but about keeping teens disease free with a booster.

Brilliant!

This sounds a bit similar to 1 out of 4 American girls having STDs or something pretty close to that number. Where did that whopping number come from? Still trying to wrap my noggin around the 1 out of 6 kids with neurological and/or behavioral problems. That still seems like waaaay too many damaged kids in any one generation to me. How can a country carry on, when 1/6 of the up and coming generation are damaged to such significant extent? We have similar numbers/stats here in Canada. I cannot believe that more people are not questioning this/wondering about what is going on here.
