Guest guest
For six years now I have watched the walks, D.C., Atlanta, and wished I could be there. I have participated from the sidelines, from my computer and my phone. All the while believing that if we ALL showed up someday in D.C. the Million Person March for Autism, if we ALL showed up for one rally, what an influence it would have. But so far, not a single one has been the huge impact we all hope for, but so far, we haven't had EVERYONE show up. As a single parent with a limited income, any single trip would be a huge financial hit for us. But, I have always said, when they give me enough warning to plan, to save, to make the commitment, and if I believe this is the one that will change everything, I will make the sacrifice and go. So my question is, announced it on National television, it's not until June, do we all believe this is the one. If you are going to make it to any walk in D.C. is this the one I should manage, no matter what? I want my voice heard, on a microphone, to my congressmen, to the American public, it is time we are all heard in unison, and individually and our kids are recognized. Do the people on this list believe that June 4th is THE ONE? Are we all going to try to make it? If Keely and I make it, will anyone help us celebrate her birthday on June 5th? She will be 10. It seems now is the time, the walls are crumbling, the ship is sinking. Is now the time to make the sacrifice and say now we make our stand.
