I experience all the shoulder girdle since my neck injury in 1997;

and although I have had 2 neck/fusions surgeries, my arms and

hands " go dead on me " , along with the pins-and-needles, constantly.

My right arm/hand does this all the time, even while they are belw

heart-level! For me, I believe I will experience this symptom for the

rest of my life, as I have permanent spinal nerve damage.

Wishing All a Painless Day!!

Hi ,I had a similar experiance although not as bad as your's sounds,I

have found that if I eat and let the food build up in my " E " then I take a

deep breath and then really SWIG a can of diet coke taking large gulps and

swallows and this and only this fools the " E " into letting food down and also

lets me belch(something I can not do freely anymore)Now this is only my cure

but it really does work for me.Others have posted in the past that warm

water helps there food down,But as many of us say everybody is

different,Give the diet coke a try I could not eat at all before I tried it

not even fluids.Hope it works take care

I have never experienced Pins & Needles but I have Gotten so

dehydrated that I developed leg cramps and actually passed out at my

son's Tee-ball game. I was to the same point as you, unable to keep

anything down on sip of diet coke sent to the bathroom 4-5 times to

regurgitate. I called the doc after hours and he had me in the

hospital within 8 hours for an emergency dilitation. That worked for

two days and the 2nd has been 8 days ago. I am now able to eat and

drink anything I want, but I do suffer from severe esophageal spasms.

I say call your doctor and insist that something be done. July 2 is

still 2 weeks away. Good Luck.
