Hi everyone, it has been a while since I have had a chance to

post messages. We have taken some family weekend trips along

with my being gone for two weeks pulling my National Guard

Annual Training. I have just finished catching up with all the

messages from the past two months.

For everybody that is new let and those who have forgotten who

I am: my name is Katy and I have three children, who is 3 1/2

and twins and Tyler (DS) who were born 11/11/99 (three weeks

early). We live in Northern Virginia.

For everybodies birthday I missed Happy Belated Birthday; for

all the accomplishments your children have made congradulations.

As far as Reflux goes Tyler has been very lucky, he has not had

any problems with it. The only thing we have to watch with him

is when he has a cold the excess mucus has caused some problems

with gagging and then his food is in his lap. It turned out that

the cold had gone into a sinus infection (his first real illness).

Tyler started to roll around the room when he was six months old,

had has been sitting on his own since he was seven months old. He

does a lot of babbling and at times I think he is trying to tell me

what he wants. However, the best news we got was from his

cardiologist last week, his ASV is now only a pin hole and she

is quite sure it will close by the time he is a year old.

Tyler's twin finally figured out how to crawl (it took almost

two months) and now all she wants to do is stand. I guess she will

be walking before the summer is over, I am not ready!!!

For those discussing potty training, my oldest did not train until

his was 3yr old. We thought he might be earlier around 2 but after

showing inital signs, he decided that he was not ready. I gave up

shortly before the twins were born and did not try again until

he was three. It only took about 3 or 4 days to have him completely

potty trained. I did have a problem with him pooping in is underwear.

So after he did it a few times I decided to let him clean his own

messy underwear, he never had another accident after his second

cleaning. He told me it was yukky.

Well this is gotten to be quite a long so I will go know,

hopefully I will get more time to post messages in the future.

Katy mom to (3 1/2) and and Tyler(DS) 8months
