Guest guest
Hi Judy, I know what you mean about the tailbone! I have had such horrific pain in my tailbone I went to my rheumy & told him that it had to be bone cancer because I have never felt anything like that before! He checked it out to make sure it wasnt broken and said because I have such severe spinal osteo-arthritis that I will have pain. That was when he finally gave me a stronger pain med. Currently I am taking mtx injections, folic acid & bextra for RA, and I take Ultracet, a combo of Ultram & acematiphin(like tylenol) for the OA. This seems to help unless I really overdo it but I always have some form of pain in my tailbone & hips. I would definately bring it up to your dr though. Guest guest
Dear Judy, I find I have that problem also and especially some days at work, after I sit I get so stiff and sore it is hard to walk again until I get limbered up again. Sometimes I get up that way also. Joy ----- Original Message ----- From: J-J-W@... Guest guest
Is anyone having trouble getting these messages? I don't get messages for 3 or 4 days and than I get several. I want to thank all you that responded to my message concerning my tailbone problem. While I hate to hear you all are having problems too, it's good to know I'm not alone. To Donna, yes, I had xrays taken Thursday and I'm just waiting on the results. To Joy, that's me exactly. If I sit any length of time, I can hardly move. To Barbara, my doctor prescribed Ultram in a very low dose. My problem is that there is very little I can take. I can't take aspirin, Ibuprophen, etc, because I have Barrett's Esophagus and I can't take Tylenol because it shoots my liver count through the roof and I wouldn't be able to go on cholesterol medicine if I'd need to and I'm this close ( ) to having to go on it. Guest guest
I had an injection in my tailbone three weeks ago. I can now sit down and the pain is almost gone. Maree
