Debby:

I, too, was diagnosed with a Morton's neuroma. I had the series of three cortisone shots and to no avail. The next stop was surgery - but I waited. And it's a good thing I did. I was then diagnosed with RA and then realized that the neuroma was not a neuroma, but was in fact RA.

Please make sure that what you have is really a Morton's neuroma before having surgery.
