I just want to clear up something from my last post. When asking

about combining ABA and NET. I was refering to " Lovaas-style DTT " .

Many people use different consultant groups and it seemed easier for

me to refer to it as ABA. I felt sure that you guys would understand

what I was talking about. The two programs (implementation) seem

completly opposed to

each other -- so how do you get them to work together? I agree with

the poster that said to do what seems to work better...determined by

the child and the target. But, for example -- we have Listen to a

Story program. Verity responds to Who, what, where question when the

sentence is given verbally (no visual). She can do short sentences,

but moving the subject etc.. around in the sentence and she get's

confused. She HATES this drill. It is very hard for her -- she

loved it with a visual. How would you teach this with NET? We have

used errorless technique many, many times on expressive drills. The

more times she says things wrong -- the harder it is to teach it

correctly. Do you do a RR with NET? - other than rotating SDs about

the same object? Sorry to ask so much -- and appreciate the answers

I have received thus far. I am very pleased with Verity's current

program and plan to still be implementing that with therapists 2x a

day while working on the " extras " in our home environment.
