My 15 yr old has therapist appointment Wednesday

My son has appointment Wednesday with therapist. He usually works with

adults but he does specialize in OCD. We took him to a therapist in

the fall. She couldn't work with him because he would not talk about

his OCD. He only had one session with her. We're trying again.

In response...

It took three tries before we found a therapist my son could work

with. The first two we went to just didn't fit his personality - and

I didn't agree with the way they handled my son either. Now we have

someone that my son feels very safe with. (We had to be on her

waiting list awhile before she had an opening.) She's just perfect

for us. Don't get discouraged if it takes awhile to find the right

person. I know I kept thinking, " We'll never find anyone...! " But we

finally did. And finding the right person was worth the wait!
