Guest guest
Hi Sherri, I know what you mean. I tried Enbril in early 2000 for a few months. I noticed a significant difference in my mobility and soreness. However, the shots are inconvenient when travelling and such so I decided to try Remicade. After 3 treatments I noticed a remarkable improvement. I started Remicade in early May 2000 and am still on it. I'd strongly suggest trying the Enbril. The only real side effects I had were small bumps around the injection sites, but they lessened as I got more used to injecting myself. Good luck! Guest guest
Hi Sherri! I have never been on Enbril but was on Remicade for over a year. I took 700mg IV. No success for me although quite a number of people who received it when I did had great success. I am now in the process of getting Kineret. I changed my Rheumatologist and the new one is trying different combos of meds so hopefully this time something will work! Hope everyone has a pain free day!!!!!!! Guest guest
Hi Sherri, I was on Enbrel for 6 months. I did not have to wait too long for it, at the time I only waited 3 weeks, but that was when there was no shortage. It took a good 6 weeks for me to feel any effects, the inflammation went down enough for me to finally wear my rings again! I did have a lot of bruising caused from the needle, but I also inject methotrexate and once I started using the same needle as the mtx the bruising literally stopped. The injection site rash really wasn't a problem after the first couple of months, I guess once it gets into your system the rash goes away, when I did have it I just rubbed a little benadryl cream on it. Unfortunately I am very med resistant so the Enbrel stopped working for me and we discontinued it at 6 months. I did not have any side effects while I was on it either. My dr. is prescribing Kineret for me so I'm hoping that this will be the one for me. Good Luck & God Bless, Barbara sedling@... wrote: Hi All!!!!!!
