It slows down the food moving through the stomach so you fee more full on smaller portions making dieting easier. You can do a google search and see plenty of articles on Victoza for weight loss in non-diabetics.I have a long way to get my BMI down from 31 to 25. > > > >> > > > > Subject: Decrease in Blood Pressure after increasing Inspra > > dose 50%> > > > > from 200 mg to 300 mg> > > > >> > > > > Diagnosis: Hyperaldosteronism, Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity, > > Sleep> > > > > Apnea> > > > >> > > > > I made an error by averaging all my blood pressure readings > > for the> > > > > last 3 weeks from May 30, 2012 when I had increased Inspra 50% > > to> > > > > June 20, 2012 instead of averaging my blood pressure readings > > from> > > > > the last few days June 17, 2012 to June 20, 2012 after having > > been> > > > > on Inspra for 3 weeks in order to compare my starting blood > > pressure> > > > > to my current blood pressure. Guest guest
With Victoza I can eat 400 to 700 calories per day without feeling hungry. I walk 1 hour 4 times a week (1/2 hour uphill and 1/2 hour downhill.)I have started going to the gym to do light weightlifting exercises and use the eliptical machine which is very good at burning calories. For the first time my blood pressure dropped to 107 / 72 and that was without any Inspra. Guest guest
At 700 calories a day you are essentially starving and should drop weight and BP quickly till you faint from low BP. MUST ALSO be eating very little Na and K. This is a characteristic of starvation.
