No likely a side effect. Ever bad hemorrhoids? Or FH OF H? Would be most likely cause of what u describe. IMay your pressure be low!CE Grim MS, MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertensionOn Jul 28, 2012, at 15:01, catherinekerth1 <catherinekerth@...> wrote:

Quick question.

I don't have very regular BM's its just the way god made me. and some times i do suffer from constipation. sometimes in the past all my life i pop a vessel from pushing and whoops there is a bit of bright red blood on the tissue. no biggie....

YESTERDAY i went and had a very easy bm and there was bright red blood in the toilet and my toilet tissue. i thought okay. wow, got a real bleeder there for no reason.I'll watch that.....

TODAY, i was constipated and did my business.... saw some blood on the tissue, no surprise. then i looked in the toilet! OMG it was like when i use to menstruate (hysterectomy 3yrs ago).

there was a lot of blood in the toilet.

I have NEVER had blood in the toilet from a BM. How much is too much? I made my husband come look at it.... hes a good sport. he told me to wait and see how other BM's go...

is this a side effect? its kind of freaking me out.

or is it a popped vessel with a vengeance?

K- (3.2 thru 4.0) 3.2 was when i was training for half marathon.... 4.0 was with very little running for a few months...

K-only low if I start to run or exercise vigorously. so i have shortened mileage and slowed pace a great deal to compensate. (a work in progress)

BP avg 140-160's/80-100's on a good day ;)
