Guest guest
Shontell, No, I didn't do anything wild for my pictures. I read that about that same diet you are talking about - 's Psycho Diet - and it was not something I felt comfortable doing. I was committed to doing BFL exactly as the book outlined and that diet recommended eating a totally different way for the last 4 weeks of the program - that's 1/3 of the whole 12 weeks! I followed the diet just like the book and still do now. I did hire a professional photographer for the 24 week pictures but not the 12 week ones. I turned 40 the week after the 24 week ones so that was kind of like a treat for my birthday. I'm so glad I did - she did a fabulous job. I had intentions of using my dumbbells right before she took my pictures to pump up my upper body but we ended up walking a LOOONNNNGGGG way to the " perfect " spot and I wasn't about to carry those dumbbells along with me! I was very nervous so she fixed me a drink before we left her house to loosen me up a little. I'm glad she did - I relaxed and had fun. The pictures you've seen are the only outfits I took. I don't have many " sexy " clothes (I'm not used to having a body that I want to reveal!) so that was about it for me. Thank you so much for asking! It is such a compliment for people to ask me what I've done. As all of y'all know, that's one of the best parts about BFL - being able to inspire others. Guest guest
Sara, Boy am I glad to read your response! We spend so much time finding what works on the BFL program, it really is " psycho " to have to change it to make the pictures show the results. You have set my mind at ease...I'm going to stay with what works, thank you! I really appreciate your being part of this group and sharing....you exemplify what BFL is all about....and I'm thankful you're not in my category for the competition....I have a feeling we'll be seeing your photos in the " winners circle " (I'm planning to be there with you, of course)! Best of luck! Happy training & healthy eating, Shontell on 8/27/00 1:21 PM, Sara Altmeyer at sasasup@... wrote: Shontell, No, I didn't do anything wild for my pictures.
