Here is more info on amino acids and OLE my wife found. The links

are attached.

,

Here are some of the sources I found that talk about not giving

additional amino acids with Olive Leaf Extract. There are several

other places that state this same information, and I can continue to

gather that information if you'd like. But, from reading some, I'm

gathering now that the method Olive Leaf Extract uses to attack

viruses is by inhibiting certain amino acid functions. In adding

additional amino acid supplements, it will just provide extra burden

for the Olive Leaf Extract, therefore either inhibiting or slowing

down any benefit you might receive from the protocol. Basically…

it's like the two are counterproductive in this instance. Hope this

is helpful.

1)

As good as olive leaf extracts are, they should not be taken along

with antibiotics, additional amino acids or any other mold or fungus

derivatives. It is not that they will do you harm, rather Olive leaf

extract will see those things as invaders and kill them canceling

the positive effect of the extract, instead of working on what's

important, healing you. This can be a frustrating experience. So,

avoid taking them together.

· As good as Olive Leaf Extracts are, they should not be

taken along with Antibiotics derived from molds or fungus and

certain Amino Acid isolates. Antibiotics if they are derived from

mold or fungus, when confronted with Oleuropein, may inhibit them or

kill them, wasting the effectiveness of both.

· Amino Acids- one clinical study showed that when elenolic

acid (produced from the conversion of Oleuropein) was introduced to

equal amounts of either lysine, glycine, cysteine or histidine it

canceled equal part out, wasting the efficacy of both. Either of

these experiences could be frustrating so try and avoid taking them

together if possible.

3)

Olive leaf extract has been found to be an extremely effective anti-

viral, anti-retroviral, and bactericidal substance. Research

suggests that a number of mechanisms are involved. These mechanisms

include:

§ A critical interference with certain amino acids that are

essential for the vitality of viruses.

4)

Are there any contraindications with Olive Leaf Extract?

No contraindications with other drugs have been observed. However,

The Original Olive Leaf Extract should not be taken with antibiotics

produced from yeast / fungus or along with additional amino acids

other than those received in your everyday foods. They might cross

out each other & #65533;s effectiveness

5)

BIOCHEMISTRY

In 1906, olive leaf extracts were found to be superior to quinine

for the treatment of malarial infections. In 1957, the active

ingredient, oleuropein, was isolated and studied as a treatment for

high blood pressure. In 1970 and continuing to the present, the

hydrolyzed form of oleuropein (Calcium Elenolate) has been tested

and found effective against dozens of different viruses and many

strains of bacteria. Olivir™ kills viruses by interfering with

certain amino acid production processes necessary for the vitality

of the specific virus. In addition, Olivir™ stimulates phagocytosis.

Olivir™ has the ability to penetrate infected host cells and

irreversibly inhibit viral replication.
