Hi - don't know if anyone else here can relate. I am now in my 8th

week and doing great as far as body fat and weight, but have another

problem. At week 1, my body fat was 39%. After 4 weeks, it was

33%. I will be testing again soon, but am thrilled with the drop.

However, I have not lost or gained a single pound, and need to lose

about 30 lbs. Also, my waist measurement has actually increased by

an inch, rather than decreased. My hip measurement went down 3

inches.

My problem is huge - I am allergic to dairy, beef, turkey, pork,

chicken, eggs and chocolate!. I can occasionally eat cod without

difficulty, but not everyday. As you imagine, it is not possible for

me to follow the BFL diet with the protein issue. I also react to

Nutrasweet, and it is in many of the EAS products.

I am doing my best with the foods I can eat, but am wondering if

anyone else deals with this. I am following the weight training

perfectly, and am amazed at how much muscle and definition I now

have. I am trying not to get stressed over the lack of weight loss

and was hoping for a decrease in measurements, but to no avail.

Also, all my jeans are skin tight and I have actually had to buy

larger clothes. I previously had " no butt " , but now am developing

one, so this probably explains why my " flat butt " jeans no longer

fit. My thighs are bigger, also. The only measurement that has

decreased is my hip measurement.

I am 34 years old with 2 kids, 11 and 8, and work out exactly as

described in the book. I know that the diet is a huge key, but I

simply cannot do it.

Any advice?

Thanks - Cheri
