Guest guest
When I switched from oral methotrexate to injections, my side effects decreased noticeably! I was not able to take this drug orally because of the side effects. For me, the abdominal pain has been the most troublesome. The sick feeling you are concerned about was also a problem for me, but when I switched to injections, it was more tolerable. However, I still feel quite sick and wiped out the day after my injection. And most days when I woke up, I felt the woozey in my stomach. I was on it for 4 years and unfortunately had to stop Methotrexate due to a sun sensitive reaction. Then I flared and and realized Methotrexate was definately helping me ! Good Luck blessings Dawn [ ] Methotrexate by injection If my new doctor starts me on injections, are they likely to make me as sick as the pills did? ________________________________________________________________________ Check out the new AOL. I was very sick with the pills, upset stomach, diharea, chills and in general feeling very bad. Once I got switched over to the injectable I was able to go to a lower dose. The reason for this is because a lot of the medicine is lost in your digestive tract. I do get a little extra tired for one day but none of the other side effects. Thank the lord! I hope it works as well for you. Hope your having a less pain day. Betty
