Guest guest
I take Chinese herbs and do accupuncture as well as take several supplements. While all these help, I still take plenty of Western meds as well. The supplements that seem to help me are wild yam extract and evening primrose oil. I am also on 28mg of prednisone and slowly dropping, Arava, Methotrexate, folic acid and Humira. Guest guest
Jocelyn: I take a lot of the same drugs you do: Humira, Methotrexate, 2 mg prednisone. No arava. I still have some pain which varies from tolerable to difficult everyday. Do you find that adding the supplements help you? Have you tried not taking them and then seeing how you fare? I'd also be interested to know the dosages of the natural stuff you take. gloria

You may want to check out Lee's website for some more suggestions, especially on the wild yam because that's similar to the natural progesterone creams. He's got quite a bit of good information, and his tapes are great! -- Kara Hoover Do you suffer from any of the following symptoms: Hot flashes? Insomnia? PMS? Unexpected Weight Gain? Anxiety? Guest guest
I decided to post one of my scariest remedy scares for asthma which is still going on . At the lake, atleast three neighbors are taking Welchs Grape Juice laced with apple cider vinegar for asthma, leukemia and migraines. The guy who is taking this mixture for asthma asks me every weekend how my asthma is doing. When I say,.. I still have it,... he shakes his finger at me and says, " grapejuice and vinegar. " ( as he gives me a sly smile) He has such bad asthma that I am actually afraid of what is going to happen. My Mom used to fire up some kind of smudge for her asthma and it was kindof like bad smelling creosote,.. but that is all the Dr. had at that time.It seemed to help her. Good breathing, Anastasia
Guest guest
Thanks for all the info! I see my Dr this week and I'll run by him what alternatives I'd like to try. Thanks again people! I thank God for this group! Crystal
Guest guest
Have you tried any of Bach's Remedies? Like Rescue Remedy? In the herbal realm, if you can find it, kava kava works well. I know there are others but I'm not thinking of them...Jen H5yo Aspie On Mon, Jul 5, 2010 at 10:15 AM, Diane <Diane@...> wrote: I am new to this group and my son (13) was recently diagnosed with Aspergers and anxiety as he had been misdiagnosed with bipolar prior. He has had major adverse reactions to meds in the past and we have had good success with the gf/cf diet and supplements. We are a little lacking in the anxiety area and was wondering if anyone has found a natural supplement to help with anxiety.
