This is a web page that I found in

an LD.org web page that I went to recently. They have a chat coming up

tomorrow.

Here is the link to a chat that took

place in Dec 2005 with Rich Lavoie, on the topic of Social Skills problems with

our NLD,, Autistic, Aspergers, or LD, ADD kids. It is very good. I

recommend this.

reminded me how much I like his work. I saw an older tape of his a few years

ago where he was training teachers, to what it feels like, to have Learning

Disabilities. It was very insightful. I have often thought that if schools

don’t have the money to send personal to conferences, why not a day of

some of these great resources available on tape/DVD. I think they should have

all personal involved including Kitchen Staff, Janitors, Bus Drivers, Para’s, Etc. It

couldn’t help but make someone more aware……….Gail A.
