I had bladder surgery a couple of years ago, and had to stay overnight. While I was there, they put these boot things on me that inflated and deflated regularly. I have "restless legs" syndrome, and these were absolutely wonderful! Recently, I got a catalogue that advertised a pair of these knee high boots that looked like about the same thing. They close with velcro, so they're adjustable, they have four or five different settings, three pressure zones, and they're absolutely great for 'restless legs.' I don't know how they'd be for other arthritic problems, but I love them.

Mine were about $129, and I saw another pair that looked the same for $39 or so in another catalogue, but they didn't have all the different settings(which I use) and they also looked like the zipped up the front, which means 'one size only' for your legs.

No, I don't get any kickback from the manufacturer<G>.

Has anyone tried the 'Air Press Massager' boots that are being widely advertised on infomercials lately? If so, has anyone found them to be effective in providing any relief from RA-related swelling and stiffness in the legs? I know they're not designed to be a therapy for any specific medical conditions, but I thought they might provide some relief. Please let me know if you or anyone you know has any personal experience with this product.
