Then, I was at a conference recently "The Future *** I have always been interested in this topic. My son who is 17 in April, was born under some trauma in 1989. He had a tough birth and had a problem with his heart beat and was under stress. I always ALWAYS wondered if something would show up later in life, and it did when he was two and three and then beyond. Also, I was a breech baby and also born with the chord around my neck and almost died. I was the first pregnancy and birth to my mom as was my son , who will be 17 and is Aspergers and ADHD. I am ADHD. Anyway, I do truly believe that the birth CAN be a big part of the development and that is why doctors in some states can be sued any time up until that child is age 18. in IL
