Guest guest
I'd be VERY careful to also look at the ingredients and not just the carb and protein in terms of grams. The quality of the protein used is very important. A lot of companies get off selling crappy product at a slightly lower price than a quality product and people think they are getting a deal, when what they are getting is the difference between a Mercedes and a Yugo. Look for whey protein as the main ingredient. It's preferrable that the whey protein be "isolate ion-exchange", straight "isolate" would be next, and "concentrate" third. Cassienate is a decent protein as is soy. But don't be fooled. I guarentee that shake mix is no where near the quality of EAS's Myoplex Lite. - In a message dated 21-Dec-00 08:30:09 AM Eastern Standard Time, literaryprowess@... writes: I've been using as one of the meals (and not even every day) a Vitamin World brand of supplement. When I compared ingredients to the EAS brand, they were very comparable. 37g protein, 24g carb. They were 1/3 the price which is why I bought them. I don't think I've checked the Myoplex Lite brand, so probably should take a look at them
