rote responding becoming spontaneous

Yes it is rote responding to begin with. But you continue to teach your

child all the different ways they could respond with respect to an object,

say, a ball, and then at some point no one can ask them a question about a

ball they can't answer. Also, what Vince says is that after you program in

so much language the world will take over and become their teacher. We

have a long, long, long way to go before we get to that point, but at least

you can see where you are going with his teaching methods.
