Guest guest
Joyce, I was walking around extensive public gardens within 4 weeks of surgery using my cane and returned to work at 7 weeks. I work at a library, so needed to be able to stay on my feet for long periods. You will enjoy your pain-free new knee, but in my experience, you're always aware of it. Especially when you try to kneel or "squat" like you used to. Can't do it. My knee is still tender at the incision site, though completely healed. The RA has attacked the tendons, etc. which causes some stiffness. I've forgotten NORMAL, lol. Some pleasant memories of childhood flexibility maybe. Glad you're feeling better. Everyday brings further recovery. Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: joyce21248@...
