Big Pharm has some GOOD marketing people that can scare us into doing what hey want us to do.

A thought has popped into my mind:

We all know the people who mange HMOs care only about their next quarterly bonus - not the patients.

Statin ads admit they do nothing to prevent first heart attacks. So WHY do HMOs pay for medications that don't work, and in fact are harmful?

They could seize on this opportunity to look good in the public's eye AND save $$$$$$$$$.

How could we propose this to them?
