Guest guest
Hi Chris May I ask when you had your knee op done? Was it your second knee? You seem to have done very well in getting back to work just after 7weeks! The tendons in the back of my knee seem to be causing most of my pain. My wound feels sore but it looks ok. I dont think we will ever get back to normal. like you I have forgotton what normal is ..lol take care Joyce
Guest guest
Joyce, I had my knee replacement done two years ago. So far and hopefully this is the only joint replacement I have had or will need. I am fortunate that my job is part-time, so still had ample time to rest between. My doctor released me for work as soon as I felt like I could drive. Still had several weeks of PT to do though. The pain in your tendons may be from the stretches you have to do to straighten your leg. Surgeon and my rheumatologist both told me that to be able to hold leg out straight is vital. They say they could put me under and BEND my knee, but they couldn't straighten it. This is the first thing my rheumatologist looked for after learning of the knee replacement. It is fascinating to monitor how much better you feel each day. Just wish the RA was the same. Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: joyce21248@... Guest guest
Hi Chris I want to thankyou for your replys to my e-mails. I wanted to ask you how long after your knee op were you back to driving? Yes I think the pains in the back of my knee are from the stretching exercises. How long have you had your RA?? Yes it is shame that the RA didnt get better with each day isnt it ? lol love from Joyce
