Guest guest
Lyn, Thanks for the response! I'm still in the deciding phase of which medication I want to try first. I was given a choice of three of the disease modifiying drugs, but I need to talk to my specialists at the Mayo Clinic before I make my decision. I am definitely still working, and, in truth, have to for insurance and money reasons. I have always been pretty careful though, with everything I've had going on with me, physically, it's second nature! =) I don't think I could run a business, though! There weren't any signs of infection in the knee fluid they took during the surgery, just lots of white blood cells and it showed a lot inflamation. They took out a TON of inflammed synovial tissue and fluid while they were in there as well. They took it originally to check for infection. Thanks again for the response, after re-meeting with my rheumatologist, I already feel a ton better and calmer about everything. I guess my RA factor is on the really low side, so he figures that, with treatment, we can keep it there, hopefully!! =) Robin =)
