Guest guest
I have severe pain and nerve damage to my left leg because of taking pravastatin. This has been ongoing for 9 months now. I have been taking CoQ10, fish oil, flaxseed oil, and vitamin C for 6 months now. I have had some pain relief, but with exercise it always returns. I am wondering if I need to take more CoQ10. I take 300 mg everyday. Will taking a higher dose help my muscles repair. I have read of other people on this site that have recovered from this statin problem and hope someone knows something else for me to do. I quit taking the pravastatin 6 months ago. I was strong and very healthy before this happened. I need to get on with my life. I can't work and have no insurance. Also Type 1 diabetic. Diabetis is no problem, I am well controlled. Hope someone knows something I can do. I don't want to go to any more doctors for help. None of them believe me. They are also too costly. My funds are running low. Please help.
