Guest guest
All,I am 62 year Anglo- old male, 4 years post MI (two Cordis stents), and have gone through the mind and body numbing effects of the progression of statins. Lipitor, Zetia, Vitoryn, and most recently Niaspan. Quit the last some 4 months ago so now in some sort of recovery mode. For perspective am a retired graduate degree (human physiology) R & D chemist (both organic and inorganic) and was raised in a medical family (Pediatrics). Since the MI I have been vary active in mentoring my peers and clients through their respective cardiac events and negative effects of their meds but until now have been silent on this website. Now that the brain cells are somewhat sorted out may change that position. My specific initial question to the Group relates to a friend recently traveling from Atlanta to Moscow and after one day R & D took a nap with some significant negative effects. He takes Lipitor based on sibling history of sudden cardiac event.Has anyone else in this universe experienced similar event from traveling east some 9 zones and if so what were overall symptoms and resolution ?Will appreciate respective feed back and best regards.T/
Guest guest
I lost a whole day in Vienna whilst travelling - had a TGA. Also the moment I go on a long haul flight and fall asleep my neuropathy is instantaneous - I think it's when we are tired/unwell and we have the Statin Poison in our bodies. I know this op I had 17 days ago have brought all my symptoms back with a vengeance. I believe my body fights the most urgent injury first, and post Statins (11 weeks since I took one) have become Chronic in my system so my body will deal with this after it has finished patching me up after my op.Pamela Toe Newman <yallethane@...> wrote: All,I am 62 year Anglo- old male, 4 years post MI (two Cordis stents), and have gone through the mind and body numbing effects of the progression of statins.
