No thanks. Not interested. If they are finding alternatives to statins

then they are all stuck in the rutt and still believe that cholesterol

is bad for us and is the cause of heart disease. Don't want to be with

cholesterol phobics. phine

Well for me Ed, Zocor was the worst. I know all people react differently to drugs and Zocor gave me all the bad side effects. Muscle aches, fevers, and walking around in a fog. My cardio didn't think it was the cause of my problems, but I pushed him on it. went to my GP armed with info on Zocor and the side effects, and convinced him to change my script. went to lipitor and cut the dosage in half to 40mg and within 2 weeks was getting back to normal. Have cut back on Lipitor because=I am still not sold on the benifits, but that is my own choice and we'll leave it at that.

Peace,

Dave

Dave I took Zocor for nearly 3 years - |I'm a woman and we hurt more!

Wish I had spoken to Ed or had his wisdom. This poison nearly killed

me - don't take any more - believe me it is challenging your body as

it challenged mine. Be brave I don't know anyone who died from not

taking a Statin! Pamela

I agree totally phine - I am still eating 2/3 eggs a day, lots of

cheese and butter. I can't get my cholesterol high enough - and I

don't care what it is as I want to live as long as the Italians and

Scandinavians Pamela
