Guest guest
Ed, I was taken to ER and the Doc decided that I had a TIA, abouit 4 1/2 years ago. Out of the blue, my vision was blurred, heavy sweating on upper body, balance problems and sometimes dry heaves. Spend the night in hospital and was let go. Four hours later, had the same symptoums at home. Had Cardio appointment next morning and went thru numerous test, ie; tilt table, treadmill with dye, EGG, wore a recorder for a while and had a recorder implant in my chest for 2 years. Had another failure and capture the data on implant recorder and off the ER again. They capture the same data, and called it Venticular Bijemine. Saw Specialist and he put me on Potassium table daily,. even though I love and eat a lot of banana's. Battery went dead so they removed the recorder and all was well, for about 1 1/2 years. This passed Aug. back to ER, while going thru test, my pulse would go down to the high 30's, nurses would come running, wondering if alls well. I was ready to leave, but the next day, treadmill test with dye, and all looked great with the heart. Cardio Doc came in and told me he would put a pacemaker in the next moning. (I passed the Medicare test) He has got me running at 70 heart beat now. While at the hospital my pulse while resting/sleeping went as low as 32, and maybe lower. Needless to say, my wife and I are happy with the faster pulse. Thats the good news, the next morning, after coming downstairs, after picking up the newspaper, same symptoms. Its now been 3 plus months and no problems, but something is lurking. I take fishoil, COQ10, Magnesssium, Potassium, folic acid, B12, B6, viamin C and Blood pressure meds, HCTZ and lisinopril. Feel great and always have, except when I have a spell, which last for 15 minutes or so. I've had know physical symptoms, and I walk 3 or 4 miles 3 times a week, with no problems. always concerned about the next time, though. Have you experience the Vision problems and sweating ?
