Guest guest
On Thursday whilst in a meeting I developed severe back pain - kidneys again. This happened 5 weeks ago in the States when I was flying over - although I had pain on passing urine with this bout. Had protein in my urine then - and again this time. I am going for a scan asap - emergency doc thinks it might be a stone - but I'm not sure as when I had a stone several years ago the pain was more severe - or maybe I've become ennured to pain with the Statin poisoning.Struggling to pass urine as well - any ideas? Pamela fgeeling sorry for herself.
Guest guest
Hi Pamela, I passed a kidney stone and gravel about 5/6 weeks ago, not something I'm in a hurry to repeat. The pain I had wasn't all that terrible, most of the time, but I couldn't lie on either side and had to "sleep" sitting up downstairs on the sofa. I had tests for infection too, but nothing showed up, other than a little protein in one urine sample the nurse did at the docs surgery, could've been contaminated as none of the other lab ones showed anything. I too struggled to pass urine and it's still not "normal". I took the advice I got from this and another group and have been using cranberry tablets ever since. Push for your scan Pamela, when I still hadn't had mine after 2 days I had to go back to my gp and when I told him I hadn't heard anything from the hospitial he got straight on the phone and I had an appointment for the next day Thinking of you Pamela, that pain is horrible. e ..
