In Vietnam, as well as China there are medical offices ( not sure if that's the correct terminology ) where traditional and holistic medicine is offered on one side and more westernized medicine is offered on the opposite side of the aisle. Smart. So glad they're "talking" about "alternative" medicine here on satelite radio while on their way to slice and dice. I have lost respect for doctors here almost completely. Not quite 100% but I certainly do not respect them the way I used to.Ed Gundy <edgundy@...> wrote: I listen to my XM radio avidly every day as I drive around for my job.I love to listen to talk radio. I hope the program guide for ReachMD.com comes through with this message.http://reachmd.com/xmguide.aspxWell, I have discovered a new talk radio channel on XM and I have beenlistening it to for hours on hand to educate myself a bit more on themedical field hearing doctors about their specialties.I was just listening it to channel 157 on XM a few minutes ago andthere is a program all about alternative medicine.Doctors were calling in and telling their opinions of alternativemedicine and it is interesting to hear what they have to say and ifthey believe in it or not.I would say that the majority of the docs who called in eitherbelieved in it completely or at

least were open to it if theirpatients were insisting on trying alternative methods for whateverails them.Anyone can sign up for it on their web site and I sent an invitationto the entire group to join ReachMD.com from their site.I thought it could be interesting to be able to send email to themfrom the members of the group on the fact that there are WE, whohave tried the traditional forms of prescription drugs for what ailsus and how we are left in worse shape due to the medicine approved bythe FDA and we prefer alternative to traditional forms of medication. The channel is 157 on XM and the site is ReachMD.com for the showprogramming online.Enjoy!Ed - Moderator
