Guest guest
Ed & GroupPlease can I ask you all a question about yellow/disfigured finger nails. When I was at my worst 8 weeks ago, my face and lips went grey and my finger nails were really yellow with ridges on them, no cuticles, and they were not growing. A couple of articles have said that this can be an enzyme re-action. Has anyone experienced this with Statn Poisoning? Also when I was waiting to see my lovely gyne man yesterday I sat and read the Zocor leaflet from start to finish: IT STATED;1. Zocor should not be prescribed for anyone with kidney problems - I do and have been on permanent meds for 5 yrs to stop infection.2. Zocor should not be prescibed for anyone with existing muscle problems - I have ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).Diagnosed in 20033.Zocor should be discontinued with a change in blood cell count - my WBC has been low since I have been on the Statins. Now is this all my responsibility, should I be the one who detects all this, is this my DR's GET OUT OF JAIL CARD FREE - surely he's the Dr and I'm the patient and he should know if Statins were a suitable drug for me as he prescribed them?Pamela SP
