Guest guest
After living with myopathy for 7 years after falling ill on a cholesterol lowering medication, I have discovered some things that appear to help with the fatigue. They are temporary, but thats better than nothing. I would be interested in hearing from others as to what things appear to help. Meanwhile, here is my list. SUGAR: Yes, that stuff we are supposed to avoid. A sugar rush helps overcome my muscle fatigue. BICARBINATE: I drank a club soda and my world changed. It happened again, and the next time. sodium bicarbinate. Then I bought a different brand made with potassium bicarbinate. I got the same lift. I felt normal. perhaps it was just the bicarbinate. Then I learned that athletes will dope up with baking soda to increase performance. Baking soda is sodium bicarbinate. FISH, STEAK, EGG: A well balanced meal that includes fish, or steak or an egg will almost always overcome muscle fatigue and pain. ARMOUR THYROID: Yep, When I switched from a T4 only thyroid replacement hormone to Armour which contains both T4 and T3, I found energy and engaged in projects around the house. VIBRATION: The constant vibration from from the 4 cylinder engine and prop from a Cessna 172 offered releif from muscle aches. I thought it was because I enjoyed flying, but I got the same relief from a finishing sander. I hate sanding. TESTOSTERONE: Exercise intolerance gone. Who wouldn't improve with an anabolic steroid? Do you notice the common denominator here? Each item that offers improvement represents a metabolic increase. ( with the exception of vibration which relaxes muscles.) Looking forward to your feedback. Bobby
