Brainwashing is exactly what it is... Although I do know more and more doctor practices that will not allow drug reps in. That doesnt mean they still dont go with the crowd. What a horrible awakening this is. But no surprise about money being behind it all. I spend a tremendous amount of time giving back to the world that gave me my life back, curing me of leukemia. I do it mostly by volunteering with the American Cancer Society. Way over a thousand hours. And dozens of drugs helped saved my life. But then the same companies almost killed me - with Lipitor and its cousins. How do you make sense out of it all? I guess like any group of people, there are good apples and bad apples among doctors. I think the pressure to go along with what is "accepted" among your peers is tremendous, even though in general doctors are some of the smartest people out there and you hope they are independent

thinkers. I have an MBA and after about 2 years at a Fortune 50 company, when I was getting to know people that had been there a long time, and had seen my first "layoff", someone pulled me into their office and said, "you have no idea, do you? a public company will do ANYTHING to make its numbers - burn the furniture, you name it." But I never imagined that killing people would be one of the things they do, on purpose. Why is homeland security worried about external threats? Do you feel more threatened by terrorists or drug companies? I know hundreds of people seriously damaged by drugs but not one person I know says they would have even known about 9/11 if no one told them. And I am trying to raise my kids in this world. prescribing cholesterol lowering drugs. Ihave to hand it to the drug companies. They've done a superb job(using their fake research) to completely brain wash most of thedoctors. I wonder how the human race survived for thousands of yearswithout cholesterol drugs. Absolutely amazing.
