All,The 08/09/2008 virtual edition of USA Today contains short article on recent FDA warning that taking Zocor or Vytorin with amiodarone (heart rhythm drug) can suffer severe muscle damage. A similar warning was issued in 2002 has not put an end to this problem. More on this when the warning is posted in a proper site.Makes me wonder just why the FDA will not issue similar warnings for the statins in general. And to greater extent wonder if any of the other cardio Rx drugs accelerate this damage.T/Chicago, IL
